Total badass. Born blind and deaf in his left ear almost deaf in his right. He got obsessed with the fiddle as a boy and never quit until he was arguably the best fiddler in the world. His hard playing style is attributed to the fact that he has to really hit the notes to hear them. Had the pleasure of seeing him play live once. It was incredible.

2021-05-21 23:54:10 I always like to ask these type of people "What if you're wrong? You cannot assume all your experiments will be a success.... What if this experiment fails? What will it take to fix the problem?" They usually just sit there blank faced and I persist with "How do you fix the problem?" Often they say to that "how?" With which I respond "absolute and total barbarism.... will you help clean up your mess when the time comes?"

The truth is none of them will. They will cower in the shadows of their failure while greater men clean up the mess.
