The books that were burned were Jewish, Modernism, Feminism, Communism, Sex Theory, Degeneracy etc.
On the blacklist of books to be burned were Authors such as Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud and 300 others, mainly Jewish or Communist writers, that reflected what Hitler described as "an un-German spirit"
