Circumcision starting in America, is an example of the thoroughness of the brain-washing we have undergone through disinformation. The practice of circumcision in America did not gain any traction until 1914, when jewish doctor, Abraham Wolbarst, began a crusade for circumcision as a preventative of syphilis & cancer w/ an article that appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association, (Vol. 62, 1914, pp.92-97)
Others before him such as Dr. Lewis A. Sayre, also mistakenly announced that circumcision was a cure for polio, epilepsy & masturbation in 1870.
In 1877, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (of Kellogg's Corn Flakes) promoted circumcision as a cure for masturbation. He wrote, “The operation is to be performed w/ out administering anesthetic, as the brief pain attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind, especially if it be connected w/ the idea of punishment.”
