Footage from New York: the city was covered with smog due to Canadian forest fires
In Canada, more than 400 fires were recorded, and the smoke was carried south to the United States. Now New York has topped the list of cities with the highest air pollution, the air quality in it has become the worst since the 1960s.
In the city, all outdoor events, airplane flights have been canceled, residents are moving around the city in respirators, and the authorities are urging them to stay at home. The smoke spreads to other regions: Washington and Philadelphia are under threat.
