The guy (name is not reported) from Woodbury, New Jersey, sent a message at 4 a.m. to a young lady friend, 29-year-old Taye Russell, with an offer to drop by for sex with him. She rushed over, but by this time the cavalier was already fast asleep. When Taye's door was not opened to an insistent knock, she became enraged and began texting the young man with the following content: "I see you want to die" and "You spent my money by inviting me to come to you."
When this tactic did not help, Russell bought lighter fluid and set fire to the front door, which was never opened to her. The guy who woke up during the fire had to escape with the dog through the window. He received second-degree burns. By the time firefighters arrived, the fire had destroyed all the property in the house.
