2022-05-06 05:10:10 DCD protocol testnet.

We are pleased to present the first public test version of our blockchain (sources at https://github.com/DCD-Ecosystem). We took as a basis a very fast and high-quality (and equally unpopular) EOSIO blockchain technology. What is its advantage? Speed, scalability, fast and quite popular smart contract language — C++.

In the course of work, we have significantly revised this technology and will continue to change it. What has changed at the moment?

1. Resources are almost completely cut out. At the moment, you can make transfers and vote without problems with resources (those familiar with EOS will understand what we mean). In the future, you will also be able to do these operations for free if you stake tokens

2. A system of commissions for operations has been introduced. Let’s go into more detail here :)
We have created a unique system of flexible commissions, which is tied to the real exchange rate of the DCD token. A special type of accounts — oracles — publish the token rate in the blockchain, and validators vote on the cost of transactions by their types. For example, the validators voted that transfers should cost 1 cent, and the oracles informed the blockchain that the token was worth 10 cents. When the user makes a transfer, he will pay 0.1 DCD. If the rate rises, then the commission in the token will decrease :)

3. A unique WebSocket plugin has been developed. It will allow any games to work with the blockchain at an incredible speed! Very soon you will be able to feel this speed in PokerChained.

In short, DCD Ecosystem is a platform project for the gaming industry. It is created together with the community to enable any game projects to start using the benefits of blockchain technology without too much difficulty.

DCD Ecosystem will include a blockchain protocol, decentralized bridges to mainstream blockchains, tools to use wallets on those blockchains despite protocol differences, and many tools to build products on top of DCD Protocol.
