One of the flashpoints behind the current Jewish attacks on Arabs in Jerusalem is a dispute over ownership of homes in an East Jerusalem neighborhood.
Israel is using the courts to steal the homes of about 28 Arab families consisting of about 300 people.
The Jews claim that these people are living on land that was Jewish owned prior to 1948. This is true, but the chutzpah of this position should not be lost on anyone that follows the ongoing Jewish theft of Palestine.
While the land was owned by Jews, these Jews fled during the 1948 war after which the Jordanian govt became legal administrator of the land, and the Palestinians settled there were given assurances in 1956 that if they gave up their claim to their former land in West Jerusalem, they would be secure in the property.
Israel's own courts upheld the Jordanian agreement in 1972. They had to do that back then because Israel was must less secure and was totally diplomatically isolated.
Today, the Jews feel invulnerable, so they are happy to completely go back on their word. Of course the Palestinians kicked off the land will simply become refugees and will not be restored to their former property which is now occupied by Jewish squatters.
So Jews are allowed to claim lands they owned before 1948, but Palestinians have no right to do so.
This is what happens when Jews have power over other people. This is how they are treated. And even more insulting is that they lie to your face and pretend that this is justice.
