Fighting again in Libya.
Local sources report that violent clashes began this morning between forces of the GNA and the pro-Khaftar Libyan National Army (LNA), in the city of Sebha, in southwestern Libya
Clashes broke out on the morning of December 14 after LNA units subordinate to Khalifa Haftar disarmed a local police unit. In response, the government's 116th Brigade attacked Haftar's supporters' areas of the city, including the army intelligence headquarters. It is reported that the Libyan National Army command and government forces are pulling in additional forces to the city to fight in the city.

In northern Iraq, fighting broke out between militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the Iraqi Armed Forces near the town of Sinjar. The conflict began after the Kurds staged a protest during which they threw a Molotov cocktail at an armored vehicle of the security forces. According to preliminary reports, one soldier was killed and one was wounded.
The reason for the protest was the Turkish Air Force's strike on the Hansur council building. There were no casualties, but the building was destroyed. The Kurds then ordered the suspension of all governmental and non-governmental agencies in Sinjar, which did not please Baghdad.
